Fire Protection

Fire-retardant liquid concentrate that also protects against against wood-destroying fungi and insects. Suitable for the treatment of wooden elements of structures and other interior wood-based materials. The product picks up the award „Golden Flame”. PROPERTIES OF TREATED WOOD

The product leaves behind a sticky, functional layer on the timber’s surface. Treated timber is stench-free. The colourless version can cause slight yellowing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Mix before use! Remove all bark residues, old paint coats and debris before treatment. For the preservative to be deposited uniformly and evenly across the timber surface, treatment should take place at temperatures of +5 °C to +30 °C. Soaking time will depend on the timber’s moisture content. Do not apply Bochemit Antiflash to frozen timber. Wait until the first coat has soaked in completely (about 4-24 hours) before applying the next coat or spray.

Certified as biocidally effective under EN 46-1, EN 113, EN 73 (prevention). Certified as effective against fire under EN 13501-1, EN 13823, EN11925-2.
