The Slovak village of Veľká Čausa lies in the south-eastern part of the Hornonitrianská kotlina in Prievidza district. During the extensive reconstruction of the municipal office and the community centre, among other things, a complete reconstruction of the roof structure was carried out. The load-bearing parts that had been infested by wood-destroying insects were treated with Bochemit Plus I. The infested battens were removed, and the newly inserted battens were impregnated with Bochemit QB Profi as a means of prevention. This product was also used for the preventive protection of the remaining parts of the structure even if they had not been infested.
