PROPERTIES OF TREATED WOOD

The product soaks into the timber after dilution with water or alcohol, forming a stench-free, unlayered wood surface. The product is colourless and does not cause yellowing.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Remove all bark residues, old paint coats and debris before treatment. For the preservative to be deposited uniformly and evenly across the timber surface, treatment should take place at temperatures of +5 °C to +30 °C. Dilutable with water or alcohol. Wait until the first coat has soaked in completely (about 4-24 hours) before applying the next coat or spray. The product’s effectiveness on thick structural timber elements (e.g. beams) can be enhanced by perforating and/or grouting the timber before surface treatment. If symptoms persist, repeat after 2-4 weeks. For comprehensive long-term preservation, follow up with Bochemit Opti F+.

Certified as effective under EN 46-1 (prevention) and EN 1390 (eradication).
