On 1 January 2021, Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/878 came into force, replacing the previous Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/830. Commission Regulation (EU) 2020/878 amended Annex II, REACH, which lays down requirements for the compilation of safety data sheets. The transitional period for updating safety data sheets is valid until 31 December 2022.
