The single-nave neo-Gothic church of St. Florian in Bochoř in the Přerov region dates back to the 1870s. It was designed by the architect Gustav Meretta, who designed a number of sacral buildings for the Olomouc Archbishopric, including the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Stará Ves and the reconstruction of the Olomouc Cathedral of St. Wenceslas. The monument represents a distinctive architectural and urbanistic landmark in the landscape.
Prior to the repair of the timber roof truss and roofing, the interior wooden ceiling structure was surveyed according to the project of OK PYRUS, s. r. o. During the survey and the repair of the ceiling structure, considerable damage was discovered. During the remediation and partial replacement of the ceiling elements, the biocide Bochemit QB Profi was applied in a colorless finish.
