Brundusa Farm in Romania offers picturesque views of the Avrig Valley and the mountainous peaks of Transylvania. The farm’s facilities are geared towards horse-riding aficionados and include riding camps for children. Brundusa Restaurant, with its manifold wooden fixtures, was arranged by its owners to be treated with Bochemit Antiflash fire retardant.
Brandusa has something for everyone wanting to be close to nature, offering relaxing farm breaks. Here you can take part in a range of rural activities from watering and cleaning horses to milking cows. The farm also puts on special activities for children, such as rural trails and horseback treks in the countryside. For the comfort of visitors and to make them feel at one with nature, the buildings of this hillside retreat are mostly made from timber. However, this carries with it augmented care requirements for the material chosen. With such a high concentration of timber, it is advisable to use products that protect it from fire.
To meet this need, the owners of Brandusa Restaurant invested in Bochemit Antiflash,a leading wood treatment product. Bochemit Antiflash is used to treat wooden fixtures in built structures and other wood-based materials built into building interiors, which need to be provided with increased fire resistance and require protection against wood-decaying fungi and pests. About 200 kilograms of Bochemit Antiflash (colourless) were used to treat the timber in the restaurant building.
